Street Beats was created by Adelaide-based artist, Ben Watson, aka Seriously Big Papa. The concept emerged through splicing a portable DJ setup with silent disco headsets. A custom harness enables the battery-powered decks to broadcast a live music experience while on the move.

Street Beats was first brought to life at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe. It quickly gathered positive acclaim, selling out shows at Australia’s biggest art festival.
